This waterfront gem opened in early 2024 and has already become our go-to spot for exceptional coastal dining. The restaurant sits right on the water with breathtaking views of Skull Creek, and honestly, the setting alone is worth the visit. But trust us, the food and service will keep you coming back.

Benny's is perfectly positioned on Shrimpers Row, just off Squire Pope Road on Hilton Head Island. You're nestled in a prime waterfront location where you can watch boats drift by while you dine. The area offers easy access to some of the island's best boating and water activities, and you're just a short drive from Hilton Head's beautiful beaches and golf courses. The location feels tucked away yet accessible, giving you that perfect island escape vibe.

After multiple visits, we've become obsessed with several dishes that you absolutely cannot miss. The hush puppies with Turkish chili honey butter are legendary – crispy outside, fluffy inside, and that honey butter is pure magic. We always start with the fresh oysters on the half-shell; they're sourced from May River and taste like the ocean in the best way possible. The Brazilian fish stew is our dinner go-to – loaded with shrimp, clams, fish, and scallops in coconut milk that'll transport you straight to paradise. Don't sleep on the crab cakes either; they're packed with fresh crab and minimal filler.

What sets Benny's apart is definitely that stunning rooftop bar called "41 up."
