Experience the magic of the holiday season at Harbour Town’s Christmas Lights Celebration! Stroll along the harbour and take in the dazzling illuminated seasonal figures, highlighted by the towering Christmas tree centerpiece. This festive display creates the perfect atmosphere for families to enjoy the holidays together. Harbour Town will be alive with activities, live entertainment, and holiday cheer throughout the season.
The official tree lighting takes place Friday, November 28, at 7:30 PM, just prior to the Gregg Russell concert — a beloved local tradition that brings the community together to kick off the holidays in style.
While celebrating, visitors are encouraged to support the Deep Well Project by dropping off canned goods or new, unwrapped toys in the well by the Liberty Oak stage — helping make the holidays brighter for families in need.
Location
The Christmas lights and festivities take place throughout Harbour Town, located within The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island. The towering Christmas tree and donation well are both located near the Liberty Oak stage, where live entertainment and the Gregg Russell concert are held.

Here’s the best part – the Harbour Town Christmas Lights Celebration is completely FREE to attend! Just come ready to soak in the holiday spirit. Food, beverages, and select holiday treats will be available for purchase from nearby Harbour Town shops and vendors.
Things to Note
Tree Lighting Ceremony –
- Official lighting begins at 7:30 PM on Friday, November 28, followed immediately by the Gregg Russell concert.
