About
Hilton Head's Lantern Parade is a free, family-friendly event celebrating the island's history and ecology. The parade is scheduled for November 22nd 2025 around 5:30pm and starts at the Alder Lane Beach Access (behind the Marriott Grande Ocean Resort). The parade winds along the beach and exits the beach at the Beach House then proceeds to Lowcountry Celebration Park. The festivities feature an immense amount of handmade lanterns, live music, and a festival at Lowcountry Celebration Park with food trucks!
Location
The parade starts at the Alder Lane Beach Access (behind the Marriott Grande Ocean Resort), winds along the beach, and the route ends at Lowcountry Celebration Park, where a festival with music, food trucks, and beverages await!
Tickets & Pricing
Here's the best part - The Hilton Head Island Lantern Parade is completely FREE to attend. Just show up and join the fun! Food and beverages will be available for purchase at Lowcountry Celebration Park, but the parade itself won't cost you a dime.

Parking and Shuttle –

Parking is available at these town-owned lots: Coligny Beach, former Wild Wings lot (72 Pope Avenue), former Aunt Chilada’s (69 Pope Avenue)
USCB – HHI – 1 Sand Shark Drive – shuttle parking available, Breeze Trolleys will shuttle to parade starting point and return to the lot from Lowcountry Celebration Park.
Churches in the area have generously offered their lots for the day: First Baptist Church, St. Luke’s Anglican Church, and Providence Presbyterian (after 5 PM at Providence, only)
