WHY HOST & HOME

A different way to manage a Hilton Head home.

Most management companies optimise for volume. We optimise for the kind of stay your home becomes known for — because that is what drives long-term returns.

A team that lives on the island.

We’re not a national portfolio. Our team is here — answering owner calls, walking properties, and meeting guests. No off-island call centre.

A curated portfolio, by design.

We don’t take every home. We onboard properties we can genuinely improve — and owners who care how their home is run. Fewer homes, better care.

Reporting you actually want to read.

Monthly statements that are clear, complete, and on time. Real revenue, real expenses, real occupancy — not vanity metrics.

Lower platform dependency.

Most of our reservations come direct, not from third-party platforms. That means stronger margins for owners and direct guest relationships we can stand behind.

Sea Pines

“Our prior manager treated us like a number. Host & Home walks the home twice a month and tells us when something needs attention — before the next guest finds it.”
David & Lara M. – with H&H since 2023

Palmetto Dunes

“The monthly statement is the cleanest I’ve seen in eight years on the island. I know exactly what came in and what went out. No surprises.”
Robert H. – with H&H since 2022

Hilton Head Plantation

“They turned down two homes on our street before they took ours. That selectiveness was the reason I trusted them with mine.”
Amelia T. – with H&H since 2024

Memorable — repeat-stay family

“We’ve stayed with Host & Home three times now. It just feels different — the call back when we needed something, the way the place is left for us. We’re already booked for next October.”
Maya, family of five

    Owners who chose us

    FOR HILTON HEAD HOMEOWNERS

    Make an informed decision.

Six questions owners ask before they choose a manager.

What if I already have a property manager?

You can still ask for information and compare approaches. Share your current arrangement and notice periods so the team can talk through transition options before you change anything.

Can I use the home myself?

Tell the team when and how often you want to use the property. Personal-use dates affect availability, rental expectations and management terms, so don’t be shy about how you want to use your home.

How are maintenance and property care handled?

Host & Home has local property management, owner relations and maintenance roles. Ask the team to walk you through inspections, repair approvals, emergency procedures and how you’ll get updates.

    What are the management fees?

Fees depend on the management agreement. Before you decide, the team will explain your property’s fee and everything it covers.

    Is rental income guaranteed?

No. A rental estimate is a projection, and actual results vary. Seasonal demand, available nights, property features, personal use and expenses all affect your rental income.

Do I need to be ready to sign up?

No. We start with questions and a free rental analysis request, then look over the approach and details before you are asked to decide anything. It’s important to us that you have all the information you need to make the best decision for your home and lifestyle.

    STILL DECIDING?

    A 15-minute call. No pitch.

Sometimes a conversation is easier than a form. Pick a time that works — one of our owner-team members will call.
